Radius - The Location Based Lookup Service

Radius allows its users to request information about a service or amenity in their area using SMS. Its biggest difference to similar solutions offered is that the users don’t need to know where they are as Mobile Network Location Based Services technology is used to pinpoint their location and then return details about the service or amenity close to them.
Radius can plug into any database giving users access to information about a wide range of services. The Radius admin platform allows this data to managed thoroughly with the ability for service owners to login and manage their own data and administrators to have access to rank certain services in areas so that they appear top of list. All the Radius technology has been developed in-house by the Wapfly technical team.
A great example of a Radius service would be a user sending the word TAXI to a shortcode such as 80808. They would then be sent a text message back with Taxi information in their area. An example message would be "TAXI contacts in your area, Oxford Cars - 0161 2731222, Village Cars - 0161 2373383, Street Cars - 0161 2287878, Taxifone - 0161 2369974".
