Origin
The origin platform gives the user the ability to build, manage and edit mobile internet sites.The platform is split into four key areas; originally designed for a publisher; the software enables the user to have complete control over a wap site and the ability to bring in bespoke applications to add further functionality to that site.
Content Management System features:
- Provides the ability to create a comprehensive Wapsite
from scratch, quickly and efficiently.
- Includes gizmos which are predesigned functional
features that provide the ability to simply drag and drop the
standard elements of a Wap page.
- Site resources tool resizes all images to cater for the
diverse range of available mobile handsets.
- Ability to manage site and where it can be found i.e.
.mobi, URL.
Content Platform:
- All content that is available for download to the mobile
user is uploaded here.
- Content could include, video downloads, wallpaper,
ringtones, music files etc.
- Each file is repurposed and optimised for each individual
mobile handset.
- Ability to track and manage statistics for each piece of
mobile content.
Advertising:
- This component of the platform allows the user to manage
the adverts on their own sites as well as managing their own
banners/links on other sites.
- This system will also allow users to manage advertising on
non Origin developed Wapsites.
- Included in this is a way of managing advertising through
either Pay per click or Page impressions.
Billing and Delivery Platform:
- Relationships with all the major mobile networks
- PAY FOR IT integration (recently installed industry
standard for mobile billing).
